Cover Art for Clayton Knight Album

Last summer I had a booth at the Woodstock Farmer's Market where I was selling my block printed cards. I met bluegrass musician, Clayton Knight, while he was performing at the market. He loved the look and feel of block prints, and asked me to create a custom print for his upcoming album, "Runs Real Good." He just sent me his completed CD, and I love how it came together! I thought it was neat that the graphic designer took elements of my block print and laid it over the inside photograph, which created a nice rustic, mixed media vibe.

Invitations for Captain Morgan Rum Release Party

I had the awesome opportunity to create invitations for Captain Morgan! Yep, the Captain! They needed unique and creative invitations for their rum release party that fit the "dark pirate" theme.

The original idea was to have the invitations rolled up and sealed with wax, however the seal kept popping off, even when bound by super glue! :-( We ended up folding them instead, and the result was really fun!

Custom Stamps

I've been busy creating fun custom stamps! From mustaches, apparel tags, favor tags, return address labels and more, the options are endless with your own personalized stamp! Big thank you to Des and Lu and Jarfly for sharing photos of how they are using their stamp.

2012 Block Print and Letterpress Dog Calendar

The 2012 Block Print and Letterpress Calendars are here! Well, the first round anyway. This year I am doing two different styles, and the dogs are finished. The calendar was letterpressed by Kevin (who is both awesome and talented) at Jazyrain Letterpress in Vancouver, Washington. All of the dogs were hand carved and printed by me. I thought they needed a punch of extra color, so I digitally printed the little pattern on them as well. I will also be doing some without the patterns. These will be available soon in my online boutique! They come in a clear CD case for easy display. 

I hope to have the other style finished next week!

Hawaiian Beach Wedding

This plumeria wedding invitation set was designed for a couple getting married on the beach at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel on the Kohala coast. Their wedding was at sunset, and what made it even more special was their wedding date: New Year's eve! The couple had met on New Year's Eve a few years back, and then shortly after went on vacation to Hawai'i, where they fell in love.

The invitation was printed on a single folded card, with quotes about love on the front and back, and wedding details on the inside. The couple chose an RSVP postcard that was placed behind the invitation, and twine held the two pieces together. A personalized monogram tag tied to the twine was the finishing touch. The monogrammed tags were also used for favor boxes.

Custom Rubber Stamps

I'm so excited to announce that Puddle Jumpin' Cards now offers custom stamps! Mounted on walnut, they are a tool for endless creative uses. Wouldn't these be fun stamped on favor tags? Or why not stamp your return address in a pretty metallic ink on a dramatic dark envelope? How about smack your monogram right there on your forehead? I kid, I kid...... You get the idea, custom stamps are too much FUN!

Classy Chic Wedding

I had the pleasure of creating the save the date cards, invitation suite, programs and thank you notes for this gorgeous wedding. The bride wanted something "classy and chic" with a feather theme. She had purchased black and white damask table runners, so we tied a matching damask pattern in with the invitations as well. A blood red ribbon added an extra bit of drama, and the thermographed monogram tags polished off the final design. The bride was an absolute joy to work with, and her invitation design set the tone of her wedding successfully. The Bride and Groom's guests knew this would be one hot wedding! :)
